Good morning, Mount Dora! Today’s the big broadcast day and our historic town is taking the national stage.

NBC’s TODAY Show is featuring Mount Dora as the first town in their Merriest Main Streets series of the season. Crews are here to capture the magic of our waterfront, our charm and a sneak peek of this year’s Lighted Boat Parade.

Christina Watkins from WESH 2 will be live on site to connect us with the TODAY Show as they broadcast into Mount Dora.

If you want to be part of the live crowd, please be in place at Lakeside Inn by 7:30am at the waterfront. Come dressed festive and bring lots of holiday cheer.
Parking is available along nearby streets or in City lots, including the lot at 400 N. Alexander Street.

For anyone tuning in from home, here is the schedule for today’s teaser hits and live shots:
