…I had had a couple of their excellent margaritas, and I was just laughing at myself. I thought “I must be tipsy!” After about 10 minutes of being dumbfounded, the doorknob just turned in my hand, and I got out. About a year later I was talking with a friend in Austin, and she said, “you know, there’s a haunted Mexican restaurant in Taylor. There’s a ghost that locks people in the women’s restroom!” My jaw dropped. I also went on a ghost tour once and had a full pint of b**r slide off a table with force at what is now Second Street Station.

Yesterday’s Imagine the Possibilities event in Taylor was a success! We joined historic building owners, potential new businesses, and finance professionals, in an effort to bring new business to Taylor and fill our vacant historic spaces. If you might be interested in bringing your business to our gorgeous historic downtown, send me a DM and I can connect you with the appropriate people! The cherry on top of the evening was running into our 2025 Guest of the Year 🥰
