The moment so many of you have been waiting for is almost here.

Wizarding Weekend class tickets go on sale TOMORROW — Friday, October 9th at 10 AM ET — and if you have been eyeing a spot in any of these classes, do not wait. Tickets are limited and they will go fast.

Here is what is available this year:

Astronomy Class with Dave Pasley of Observable Space
Saturday, October 24th | 11 AM–12 PM | $20/person | 20 seats
Map the night sky with a real astrophysicist and build your own glass jar constellation to take home. Yes, really.

Care of Magical Creatures
Saturday, October 24th | 1–3 PM drop-in | $15/person | 20 seats
Craft your very own Biting Beast Journal — just be careful. It might bite back.

Herbology Class
Saturday, October 24th | 1–3 PM drop-in | $15/person | 20 seats
Get your hands dirty and design your very own magical mini terrarium to take home.

Divination Class with Dawn from Dawn Moon Tarot
Saturday, October 24th | 1–4 PM | $30/person | 15 slots only
Peer into your future with a personal 10 minute tarot reading from Dawn Moon Tarot. Only five readings available per hour — these will be the first to go.

Potions Class with Victoria from Paper Street Soap
Saturday, October 24th | 3:30–4:30 PM | $30/person | 20 seats
Brew a potion you will actually use — blend our Signature Stacy Mansion scent with herbs and stones into your very own bottle of hand and body wash to take home.

A note for our overnight guests — classes are included with your stay with one magical exception. You will have your very own exclusive Tarot Card Reading experience with Dawn separately. Consider it one of the many perks of staying with us for the full weekend.

A love letter to chairs.

The small ones that get dragged across the floor by a four year old who absolutely needed to sit exactly there and nowhere else.

The big ones that swallow you whole on a rainy afternoon and refuse to let you leave.

The regal ones that stand in the corner of a historic parlor looking important and slightly judgmental.

The practical ones that show up by the dozens for a wedding reception and never once complain about it.

The porch rockers that have heard more confessions, solved more problems, and hosted more deep conversations than any therapist's couch ever could.

The folding ones. Bless them. The unsung heroes of every event ever thrown.

The one at the head of the table that makes whoever sits in it feel like they are absolutely running things.

Chairs. Holding butts, gifts, memories, birthday cakes balanced on armrests, flower girls who had other ideas, and the occasional sleeping guest who just needed a minute.

We love every single one of them.

And when they have lived a full and beautiful life — we give them a new one.

We have been wanting to do this for a while — and our 1st Anniversary Community Celebration felt like the perfect moment to finally make it happen.

Introducing the official Stacy Mansion Garden Scavenger Hunt.

If you have ever stayed with us or attended an event here, you may have noticed that our gardens are hiding a few secrets. Tucked among the flowers, nestled along the pathways, and peeking out from the most unexpected places are all kinds of little hidden critters and treasures just waiting to be found. Pigs and frogs and turtles and owls — and that is just the beginning. There is even a pelican, an elephant, and a Buddha in there if you look hard enough.

We debuted the official hunt at our Anniversary Celebration last weekend and watching guests of all ages wander the pathways with their checklist in hand was one of our favorite moments of the entire afternoon. Kids were sprinting. Adults were squinting. Everyone was having the best time.

The hunt is now a permanent part of the Stacy Mansion experience — a little extra magic waiting for our overnight guests and event visitors when they arrive.

We are so grateful for the love this weekend from the wonderful Lenawee Locals!

Sometimes a space speaks so beautifully for itself that it barely needs any help at all.

This past weekend we hosted our final wedding of the season — and the setting was absolutely stunning from the very first moment to the last.

Roy and Lynn chose one of our favorite spots on the entire property for their ceremony — the front door of The Stacy Mansion itself. Framed by the original architecture of our 178 year old historic home, this natural arch is one of the most charming and intimate ceremony spaces we offer, perfectly suited for smaller gatherings of 48 guests or fewer. There is something quietly extraordinary about exchanging vows beneath a doorway that has been welcoming people since 1848 — and it photographs beautifully every single time.

After the ceremony the celebration moved inside for a warm and relaxed roaming reception, complete with wonderful catering from Busch's, bartending by Mibile Mix, and the most delightful desserts from Emmy's Kitchen.

Congratulations to Roy and Lynn. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.

And just like that — our inaugural wedding season at The Stacy Mansion is officially in the books. What a year it has been.

The moon has been casting quite the spell over The Stacy this week. We stepped out after dark and found her glowing through the clouds above the old brick and tower windows, as if the house itself knew what was coming.

Because tomorrow, October 1st, spooky season officially begins.

The mums are blooming, the lanterns are lit, and the shadows are getting longer along the brick path. And with every passing night, we're one step closer to Wizarding Weekend on October 23.

Pack your robes, polish your wands, and keep watching the skies. Something magical is brewing.

Sunday was everything we hoped it would be.

To every single person who came out to celebrate our 1st Anniversary Community Celebration — thank you. From the bottom of our very full and very grateful hearts, thank you. Seeing our grounds filled with familiar faces, new friends, and our community showing up the way it always seems to show up for us — it was a moment we will carry for a very long time.

We will be sharing a full recap video later this week so you can relive all of the magic — but today we wanted to slow down and express our deepest gratitude to the people who did not just show up on Sunday but who helped make this entire first year possible.

To our Legacy of Love sponsors — your belief in this property and this vision before the ink was even dry means more than we can adequately express. You invested in something you believed in and we hope year one has shown you that your trust was well placed.

To our devoted volunteers — you showed up, you set up, you stayed, and you poured your time and energy into making this celebration everything it deserved to be. We do not take that for granted for a single second.
