We did it.

Our first large outdoor wedding is officially in the books — and we are sitting here in that particular kind of exhaustion that only comes from something going exactly the way it was supposed to. The kind of tired that feels like a badge of honor. The kind you would sign up for again in a heartbeat.

We are not sure we have the words yet for how much this weekend meant to us. Watching this property — this beautiful, historic, beloved old girl — hold space for one of the most important days in two people's lives was something we will carry for a very long time. We cannot wait to share the photos with you.

But here's the thing about wedding season — she does not slow down for sentiment.

Because this week we are doing it all over again with an intimate mid-week micro wedding right here on the grounds. Different in size, equal in love, and just as meaningful.

We are grateful beyond words. Tired beyond measure. And so incredibly full of joy that this property is becoming exactly what we always hoped it would be — a place where life's happiest moments find their home.

Cheers to love. Cheers to happy chaos. Cheers to this beautiful property and every soul it gets to hold.

This week we are raising a very full glass to the beautiful Brittany — bride-to-be and clearly a woman with exceptional taste in bridal shower themes.

Her mom Julie — who we happen to know can keep a beat better than most — threw Brittany the most wonderful Regency-inspired bridal shower here at The Stacy Mansion this past weekend. And while the weather had some opinions of its own early on, it came around beautifully and delivered the kind of golden sunny afternoon that felt like it was planned all along. We like to think the universe simply wanted to match the elegance of the occasion.

Julie, you did a magnificent job. The love and effort you poured into celebrating your daughter was felt in every detail — and Brittany is so lucky to have a mama who shows up for her the way you do.

To Brittany and Andrew — may your wedding day be as warm and beautiful as that afternoon sun that showed up just in time. And may everything that follows be even better than you've imagined.

We have been waiting to share this one — and now that it's standing tall and beautiful in our gardens, we simply cannot hold it in any longer.

Meet our wedding arch. And meet the incredibly talented team at Made in Stone who brought our vision to life so far beyond what we imagined.

Almer and his crew took an idea, a dream, and probably a few of our rambling descriptions of what we hoped it could be — and turned it into something that quite literally stopped us in our tracks the moment it was complete. It is sturdy. It is stunning. And it is exactly what this garden has been waiting for.

We are so deeply grateful for the craftsmanship, the care, and the attention to every single detail that went into building something we hope will stand in these gardens for generations to come. Love after love after love will be exchanged beneath this arch — and that is not something we take lightly.

And speaking of love —

The very first ceremony beneath this arch happens this week. We will be honest with you. We are a little giddy about it. Forgive us if our posts are a little slower or our responses take a little longer than usual this week — we are busy sprinkling magic on something very, very special.

There is a particular kind of magic that only happens here on a summer evening.

The fountain trickles steadily in the background, the frogs begin their evening chorus down by the pond, and the heavy summer air softens just enough with a passing breeze to remind you that everything is exactly as it should be.

Maybe you're on the porch, rocking slowly with a drink in hand. Maybe you've found one of the quiet benches tucked throughout the gardens, hidden just enough to feel like your own private corner of the world.

Wherever you land, something shifts.

The to-do list fades. The noise of the day grows distant. And for a little while, your mind settles into something quieter, something almost meditative — a space where gratitude has room to breathe.

These are the moments we built these gardens for. These small, quiet evenings where peace finds you simply because you allowed it to.

This week we are sending the warmest congratulations to Alli Billings on her high school graduation.

Alli celebrated this milestone with a beautiful graduation open house here at The Stacy Mansion, capping off what we can only imagine was a full and memorable weekend of celebration with the people who love her most.

Erika and Mark, congratulations to you too. Raising a daughter who is amazing and talented enough to be celebrated this beautifully doesn't happen by accident — it takes years of love, guidance, and showing up. You should be so proud of the young woman Alli has become, and so proud of the life you've built together as a family.

Alli, this is just the beginning. We hope this next chapter is filled with adventure, growth, and every bit of the success you've worked so hard for.

This week we are raising the most joyful glass to the brand new Mr. and Mrs. — Renee and Sean — who got married this past weekend and let The Stacy Mansion be the hub for the beautiful pre and post moments.

And what a weekend it was.

It started with a rehearsal dinner and ended with a post-wedding brunch — and in between, these walls held more love, laughter, and happy tears than we could have ever hoped for. The ladies getting ready together. The family gathered around a table passing the hours with cards and good company. A couple stealing away to their suite for their very first night as husband and wife. And a morning after filled with good food and the kind of glowing, happy exhaustion that only the best weekends leave behind.

We didn't just host a wedding weekend. We got to live alongside one. And that is a privilege we do not take lightly for a single second.

To the whole family — thank you for welcoming us into your happiness so warmly. We loved every moment of getting to know you, cheer you on, and sprinkle a little Stacy Mansion magic into an already extraordinary celebration.

Renee and Sean — may your marriage be as warm, as joyful, and as full of love as the weekend that started it. We hope these walls see all of you again very soon.

Some gifts arrive wrapped in more than just kindness — they arrive wrapped in history.

We recently received the most beautiful donation — a teacup shelf and collection that has now found its perfect forever home in Wealthy Hall on our second floor. And the moment it went up on that wall, it looked like it had always been there.

That's the thing about this old girl. She has a way of welcoming the stories of other families and making them part of her own.

Every teacup on that shelf lived a life before it arrived here. It sat on someone's table. It was passed down with intention. It was loved. And now it gets to be loved all over again — by every guest who steps into Wealthy Hall and pauses to take it in.

We are so grateful to the family who chose to share their collection with us. Your memories are safe here, beautifully displayed, and very much still being cherished.

This is what we mean when we say The Stacy Mansion is more than a building. She is a living, breathing collection of the people and stories that have found their way to her. And we hope she holds many, many more.

Our very first Garden & Sound Escape of the summer is Tuesday, June 9th from 6–8 PM — and right now, these gardens are putting on quite a show.

Two hours. Pure, unhurried serenity surrounded by everything that makes a summer evening in Tecumseh worth slowing down for.

Tickets are still available for Tuesday — but if you can't make it this month, we have three more chances to escape with us this summer.

A year ago this month, something exciting happened for the very first time. Our very first official advertisement appeared in HOMEFRONT magazine — and just like that, The Stacy Mansion introduced itself to the world.

We remember the thrill of seeing it in print. Our home. Our dream. Our name. Right there on the page.

But here's the thing that stops us in our tracks when we look at it now — even the house in that ad looks different. In just one year, this property has been transformed in ways we couldn't have fully imagined when that photo was taken. New fence. Gardens coming to life. A wedding arch almost completed. Spaces that have hosted hundreds of guests, celebrations, milestones, and memories.

One year. One advertisement. And an entire lifetime of change packed into twelve remarkable months.

We are so grateful to HOMEFRONT for being part of our very first chapter — and even more grateful to every single person who saw that ad, got curious, and found their way to us.

Here's to year one coming to a close in just over a week. We have a feeling year two is going to be even better.
