Weather delays may have slowed us down, but dome #3 is finally up! 🙌

We also got in some family camping, fishing, lake time and s’mores at Summit Lake. đŸŽŁđŸ”„

Three domes down. This place is really starting to come together. â›ș

Another milestone! Dome #2 is up. 🌅

Built for sunrise views
and accidentally became the best seat in the house for watching the neighbors’ cows. 🐄

What should we name it?

Moo Views? Moorning Dew? Or something better? 👇

We celebrated with a little fishing at Summit Lake. 🎣

Last night’s sunset over the sunflowers was too good not to share

We paused the build for a few minutes to take it all in

Apparently, the neighbors agreed. The cattle stopped by to check on our progress đŸ„đŸŒ»

Evenings like this are a good reminder of why we’re building Burning Sage Acres

“She’s a beaut, Clark!” 🚐

We recently picked up this vintage Airstream, and from the moment we saw it, we knew it belonged at Burning Sage

One of the things that made the decision easy wasn’t the polished aluminum or the vintage charm

It was watching our kids spend the evening playing outside at its former home. Chasing frogs through the mud, exploring, and just being kids

That’s exactly the kind of memories we hope families make here

Now this classic Airstream has a new home overlooking the hills, right alongside our first glamping dome

Even the sunflowers and the neighborhood cows stopped by to check out the newest additionđŸŒ»đŸ„

Now we need your help

Our first dome is officially standing!

It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago this was an empty corn field

Since then we’ve poured concrete, built the deck, assembled the platform, stretched the dome cover, and spent more late nights than we can count making sure every detail is just right

This first dome has been a true family project. Three generations have pitched in, friends have shown up to help, our dogs have supervised every step, and we’ve even had our kids learning right alongside us.

Seeing the view from inside for the first time reminded us why we started Burning Sage Acres

We’re getting closer every day to welcoming our first guests

Who’s ready to watch a sunrise from this view?

Update: The Finding Promised Land tents have arrived and we officially have powerâšĄïž

A huge thank you to Greg Carlberg for letting us use his loader and to DR Containers Moblie Storage for delivering us a container the same day we called

It’s been a busy few weeks, but we’re making progress

We’re putting the finishing touches on three decks and will soon begin building the tents

One step closer to welcoming our first guests

Excited for the Hoot Gibson Memorial Rodeo to get underway tonight

It was pretty cool to see Bernie Maslowsky go from preparing the rodeo arena a few weeks ago to helping plant a wildlife mix at Burning Sage Acres

The name Burning Sage comes from one of our founders’ grandparents’ operation, where they taught people with disabilities how to ride horses and compete at rodeos

Seeing those roots connect to what we’re building feels a little like coming full circle

One of our favorite things to do is catch bass at sunset directly across from Burning Sage Glamping and RV Campground

Then end the night around a fire

Simple evenings like this are a big part of why we’re building this place
