Skyway Ride Report — Oct 20 🍂
Rode the stretch from the Lake Overlook down to Indian Boundary today. Color's at about 50% here and building fast — this section hits its best later this week.
And it's 70s and sunny all week. If you've been waiting for your sign to ride the Skyway, this is it.

Shot this at the Lake Overlook on the Cherohala Skyway today. The mid-mountain slopes are getting close to PEAK right now, and the color is walking down toward Tellico day by day.
And the timing couldn't be better — 70s and sunny all week. Peak color meets prime riding weather.

This is what the second week of October looks like from the top of the Skyway. The high elevations are lit up right now — if you've been waiting on the leaves, this is your sign.

Leaf Update for October 8th at Bald River Falls off of the Cherohala Skyway.
Bald River Falls sits at 1,447 feet in elevation and still has a long way to go! Higher elevations are starting to pop. We will run back up to the top for the next update!
