We are excited to announce our plans to finish this relaxing get away. Just weeks after we bought this place covid hit. So slowly over the past 5 years we've remodeled and added.
Our hope was to find a good couple to operate the place as vacation and overnight rentals. As we all know the dreams of finding employees now days is hard. Especially up in the mountains. We were looking for the right ones to operate the property as a retreat camp for small groups and Airbnb. No one came along.
I told my crew a few weeks ago to schedule it on their calendar and go finish the place and I'd sell it. My crew felt God gave us that place for a purpose and asked that I pray. The next day one of my long time customers texted and asked if I still had Mountian Creek Hideaway and I said yes. She said the Lord keeps laying it on my heart.
Christian Cain and her husband Nick will be moving up next week to complete the property and open in March 2026. There will be three 2 bedroom cabins as well as three single room cabins, a 6,000 sq ft lodge and 6 motel rooms with 2 queen beds in each (3 rooms at each end of the lodge). In the middle of the lodge is a large dining area and sitting area with a Juice, Coffee and Tea area. There's a fully supplied commercial kitchen with pizza ovens, fryers, stoves and more. Could operate as a restaurant.
There is coming a 30x50 covered shelter nestled in the woods behind the home and end cabins. This will serve as a gathering place for services, cook outs, etc.
Also the property will have a bathhouse with two large bathrooms to include a shower, sink and toilet. There will also be a charging area, game area with a few arcade games and board games. The game room has a covered porch overlooking the small pond as well as an open deck for seating. There's also a grilling area with 6 grills provided.

Although we have a Tellico Plains, TN address we are located in the small community of Coker Creek, TN (one of the original gold rushes). We sit on the divide of the Cherokee and Nantahala mountains, 30 minutes from NC or GA. We sit on the new Hwy 68. We're very close to tons of attractions like The Lost Sea which is one of the largest underground lakes on earth,Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, Bald River Falls, Trails, Indian Boundary Lake and so much more.
