The land has a history long before any of us arrived. 🌿

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Glen Eden Sun Club honors the Luiseño people, whose ancestral lands we are privileged to enjoy today.

We acknowledge the generations who cared for this land before us and recognize the Indigenous communities whose cultures, traditions, and connection to the land continue today.

May we carry that awareness into the way we respect and care for this beautiful place, not just today, but every day.

🎃 Halloween at Glen Eden is almost here, and it's time to get creative!

We've got pumpkin decorating, costumed pups, and a Halloween dance party planned. Here's the lineup:

🎃 Friday, Oct. 30: Pumpkin Decorating Contest — drop off your creation outside Piper Patio by 10 AM.

🐶 Saturday, Oct. 31: Dog Costume Contest at 2 PM on the Upper Lawn.

👻 Saturday evening: Costume Contest! Prizes for everything from funniest to scariest, including couples and groups.

🎶 Saturday, 8 PM: Live music and dancing with Cheez Whiz!

The weekend is almost here, and we've got two great nights of music lined up at Glen Eden! 🎶

🎶 Friday night, DJ Alicia gets us started with your favorite dance tunes from 7–11 PM.
🎶 Then Saturday, grab those cowboy boots because the Chris Daniels Project is bringing their mix of country, rock and blues to the stage from 7–11 PM. 🤠🎸

Okay, Glen Eden historians, we need your help with this one! 😂

We came across this gem in the archives, and we have SO many questions. Who was this and why is there a goat with saddlebags strolling through Glen Eden? What fun thing was happening that day?!

There's clearly a story here, and we're hoping someone remembers it! Please fill us in in the comments. We'd love to hear the story behind this wonderfully quirky little piece of Glen Eden history.

Dust off those cowboy boots—Chris Daniels Project is coming to Glen Eden this Saturday! 🤠🎶

If you like your country with a little rock, soul and blues mixed in, this is your kind of night. CDP has been part of the Southern California music scene for years, with a songbook that stretches from Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam and Brooks & Dunn to Tom Petty, Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones and CCR—along with their own original music.

CDP has also shared the stage with some pretty impressive names, including Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker Band, Lukas Nelson, Leon Russell and The Tubes. Come out, grab your friends and spend Saturday night dancing with us—clothing free and country rocking.

Our next American Red Cross Blood Drive is coming up Friday, October 23, from 8:30 AM–2:30 PM. Glen Eden hosts blood drives throughout the year, and our members continue to show up in a big way.
