There are few moments in Masonry as meaningful as witnessing the beginning of a Brother’s journey—and today, that excitement is especially strong as York Rite Masons from all over Georgia gathered in Macon for the Grand Master’s York Rite Class.

This is more than a ceremonial occasion; it is a powerful step forward in light, knowledge, and commitment. For our new candidates, this journey represents dedication to personal growth, deeper understanding, and the timeless principles that unite us as Masons.

The York Rite offers a path rich with history, symbolism, and profound lessons. To see new Brothers take this step reminds us all of our own beginnings and renews our appreciation for the Craft and its enduring values.

We are teaming up with Buchanan Masonic Lodge #78 F&AM on a Boston Butt sale! Combined, we are hoping to sell at least 100 butts!

Class ALERT!

The 7th District Convention Officers are sponsoring a Masonic Education Class on Saturday, April 11 @ Cartersville Lodge!

This class will be a unique one as WB Richard Cunningham, 7th District Custodian, and the M.E.L.D. Directors are teaming up or a class!

This class will be a two part class: First part will be an abbreviated School of Instruction focusing on Opening and reception of the GM/DDGM. The District Officers will fill the chairs.

The second part will be the Masters/Wardens & Deacons/Stewards workshops led by the cohort of M.E.L.D. Directors. We will submit for certificates for all attendees of this event.

With this unique setup, we will have a focus on ritualistic work, while also learning the nuances of what the officers' duties are beyond the ritual.

Cartersville Lodge #63 is providing breakfast.

For food preparation, we are asking all to RSVP. Please let your Lodge Secretary know so he can let the District Secretary or MELD know.

Brethren, the imperious mandate of the dread messenger, Death, against whose entrance within our circle the barred doors and Tyler’s sword afford no defense, calls upon us to mourn the loss of one of the sons of light.

Bro. Jimmy Elmer West laid down his working tools on Friday, January 16, 2025 and entered into the Celestial Lodge above. Services will be announced soon and reshared here. Masonic Rites will be given.
