Do you feel like dropping everything and running away to the gorgeous mountains of Far West Texas? Well, we've got your RV pad space waiting for you!

IMMEDIATE OPENING: Due to illness, our Host Camper, scheduled to work from October 1 to December 31, will be unable to report to work for us. WE NEED YOU!

HOST CAMPER POSITION

Work with a fun team and experience the stunning fall colors, cool temperatures, and crystal clear night skies at an elevation of 5,100 ft. in the Davis Mountains, Texas. The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center & Botanical Gardens has an opening for a Host Camper, single or couple. Tour assignment: October – December, 2025.

Your assignment is to greet guests as an Information Desk and Gift Shop Host at the Visitor Center for three days each week, Thursday to Saturday, working 8 hours each day. This position includes access to an RV pad with septic, a large washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a shower. Well-behaved pets are welcome. A stipend will be provided.

Located at 5,100 ft. elevation, 4 miles SE of Fort Davis, TX. The 507-acre site features over 5 miles of hiking trails, an 18-acre botanical garden, a cactus museum collection, a bird blind, and offers spectacular vistas.
