It’s no easy task to stand up day in and day out for Mother Earth while so much progress is undone right before our eyes. This Fest is about thanking those who keep on standing despite it all so let’s give some credit to those making it happen!

The winners will be picked Monday at 7 pm!

Here’s your annual Summer reminder that we are a 8+ mile long refreshing reservoir containing the mighty Bear River that also happens to have hot springs before, during, and after your river hang…

If you’re looking for lake day, reservoir run, or beach adventure, consider this:

- 20 ft from our pools is our 70 F waterfront for kayaks, canoes and river dips
- If SLC/Idaho Falls are 100 F, Maple is 10+ degrees cooler
- Our 6 pools range from 95 F - 107 F
- Free canoes, BYO paddle boards or rent ours
- We run Oneida Narrows river floats most weekends

Our daily guest rituals tend to flow like this -

Wake up/arrive, soak, coffee in the river house, soak, morning yoga on the lawn, brunch, soak, river dip, soak, nap, paddle board, soak, card game, snacks, late afternoon river dip, soak, dinner, evening yoga in the yurt, patio fire, CRASH HARD.

Bookend your river dips with a soak/sauna during one of our 3 hour sessions, with our All Day Pass, or as a Nightly Guest.

And, if you’re really lucky, you’ll catch an evening concert in the pool…

Do you and your partner have what it takes to be the hosts of a 60 acre solar-powered hot springs retreat center for the Fall / Winter ahead?

We asked this 6 months ago and were overwhelmed by the incredible community of teams who threw their swimsuits into the ring. Through the process, The Kens bubbled up as your hosts (Kendall & Kennedy) With backgrounds in coaching, climbing & the culinary arts they have spent the Spring \ holding space with a level of stoke & energy that’s matched our guests.

We never know where our teams will come from but by now, we love seeing where they head after. Aubri & Mel stayed on to as our GM’s & your recent hosts Brian & Mai are now the GM’s at Wilbur Hot Springs in CA. The rest are spread out with ripples well beyond our shores.

And this September, a new team will step into the Ken’s flip flops. Could it be you?

The journey to Maple for most of our team members begins by asking some simple questions...

Should we shake things up and live, work, and heal at a hot springs?

Could we work together as a couple? Are we tired of computers and scary Sundays and moody Mondays? Do we want to work with our hands and heart in equal amounts? Are we flexible and do we make people feel welcome? Can we hold space for guests of all shapes, sizes, genders, beliefs, and backgrounds?

Can we work hard in new ways and be calm in the face of even newer problems?

You’ll be joining a long line of artful peers who are here to help you step in to the role and support you as you lead us into the Fall ahead.

You will do things you never thought possible. You will laugh, cry, breakdown and build yourselves back up. And through it all, you will change the lives of thousands of fellow humans who are simply looking for a place to rest, a place to learn, a place to grow, and a place to feel at ease.

You will make this possible.

If this sounds like you, a loved one, or a friend, review the job postings in our profile and send in your materials ASAP. We accept applications on a rolling basis. We intend to fill these overalls by Sept 1st.

Apply or send this to anyone who you think can make

What on Earth are we doing?

This flying rock through space has produced its first trillionaire - meaning that 1 man wielding a chain saw has more wealth than the bottom 3.8 B humans on the planet - roughly 46% of our species combined.

That can’t end well.

We’re all in for entrepreneurship, but when the economic rocket ship we’re all now strapped to is fueled by delusions of COMPUTER DATABASES solving HUMAN DILEMMAS under the fantasy that eventually humans will finally fix, solve, discover, or create a BETTER LIFE on another planet at the expense of the one we already have, we simply don’t get it.

The driest, hottest, loneliest patch of Earth is 1000% dreamier than anything we’ll find in the stars.

The most mundane conversation full of friction with someone you love is 1000% more real than anything you’ll find in a chatbot.

What on Earth are we doing?

At a time when we are throwing billions to build energy and water consuming databases that fuel the consolidation of wealth, pacify the masses with slop fueled entertainment, and jeopardize already sensitive ecosystems, it’s entirely possible to walk outside, put your feet on the grass, and simply say no.

Not me. Not like this. Not while I am alive.

It’s hard to know how this collective decision point will pan out, but it’s no longer hard to know that we are in one.

WHICH DIRECTION SHALL WE HEAD?

In case you’re wondering, we’re heading to a concert this weekend with zero wifi, no cell service, human musicians playing creative music to a pool of floating strangers in water heated hundreds of miles under the Earth.

That, plus pizza during a sunset.

Hey dads, put down that boulder & put on a swimsuit!

Men, including all you dad’s out there, NEED TO RELAX, literally.

Over 80 percent of you reading this are women & the same breakdown exists for those who actually make it to our shores.

Most, but not all, retreat, workshop & wellness experiences are comprised of women.

Sure, families and couples often make up our guests, but in about equal amounts are the girlfriends getting away, sisters on a road trip, and solo female travelers with a good book.

And yet, for the men who make it here, and you know who you are, the benefits of slow days, digital detoxing, lawn yoga, meditative mornings & quiet sober evenings are perhaps even more potent.

There is a universally profound magic when a human mind, body & soul sits within nature to do exactly one thing -

Nothing. To just be.

Of all the unhelpful roles society orients men to perform, the need to constantly DO something is perhaps the most exhausting (for everyone).

The need to fix, perform, provide, instruct, inform, achieve, accomplish, accumulate, and oh so much more can’t be a 24/7 assignment.

The act of “doing” often gets in the way of artfully being. And while there is a time for both, society seems confused when men lean in to self care, stillness & slow moments of nothingness.

It doesn’t always know what to do with GENTLE-MEN.

This Father’s day, consider gifting that man in your life the space to be his most GENTLE SELF.

Our families, communities & planet can feel like a heavy lift and dads out there are often the first in line to carry that boulder.

And we’re on a mission to help him PUT IT DOWN!

Need some ideas on how to gift stillness to the dad energy in your life?

-Father’s Day soaking sessions! Add in the sauna pass for a sweat and cold plunge or join our weekend Qigong offerings on our calendar.

-Gift Cards or nightly stays - use code poolsidepapa for 15% off any nightly stay between now and Sunday.

-Snag a concert package for one of our Summer shows, including on 6/27.

-A last min adventure to our indigenous repair & healing 2 hr workshop this Sat 6/20.

06/16/2026

This weekend, Shoshone Truth-teller, Elder, & Activist Darren Parry Darren Parry is teaching “Returning to Balance: Indigenous Pathways for Conflict, Repair, and Healing on our shores and you’re invited to take a dip into a different path forward.

If you haven’t noticed, certain cracks within the collective psychosis that fuels consume-at-all-costs capitalism are beginning to emerge.

The people are starting to say ENOUGH.

Enough extraction, enough expansion, enough exploitation - of our land, our water, our cultures, our unity, our livelihoods, our social fabric, and our very sense of what it means to be human.

Now, perhaps more than ever before, Einsteins sentiment that we cannot solve current problems with the same thinking that created them has never felt more true.

As if the hustle of modern man is finally laid bare for what it really is - a runaway train heading straight towards a cliff.

BUT, HUMANS have not always thought, behaved, and collaborated with this dysfunctional ME ME ME set of values.

There are other ways and on Sat 6/20 from 10-6, Darren together with conflict resolution facilitator Sierra Benson Collett will guide us through the indigenous roots of land and community-based processes for managing conflict, repair, and sustainable co-habitation moving forward.

If you’ve been staring at our leaders and wondering when we swapped out wisdom for wealthmaxxing, Institutes of Peace for Departments of War, experts for entertainers, and love for hate, you’re not alone.

We didn’t, and this weekend, we’ll remember that it’s never too late to choose a different path forward.

Tickets in our profile or calendar.

Friends, we’re gonna do something experimental and you’re invited!

In case you hadn’t heard, our 2026 Summer Sound Bath Concert Series is off to the races with our first show of the year this Sat, 6/6!

And this year, we are kicking things off with something new in partnership with The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art in conjunction with Altered States in the Acid West with support from

Cause, WHY NOT??!!! dip our collective toes into an altered soundscape rooted in an experimental blend of art, music, and naturally occurring hot springs…

A Score for No Film, is an “acid western” live score performed poolside in the River Lounge featuring an ensemble of local musicians who craft a shifting sonic environment around video work by Moses Williams—layering guitar, organ, banjo, pedal steel, bass, percussion, and projection into a live, cinematic score.

Drawing from the sound worlds of Morricone, Neil Young, Langhorne, and Jodorowsky, the performance moves between sparse, filmic passages and dense improvisation.

The night kicks off with a soak and pizza from 6-9 featuring Chaz Prymek .prymek, Nora Price , Taku Ishikawa , M. Horton Smith , Ian Hazel, Ian Camp, and sound tech Mike Fuchs. Opening set by St. Moan .moan. Video work by .williams.now

Introducing Watsu - an aquatic thermal treatment that blends massage & the surreal experience of sensory floating in natural mineral hot springs.

This weekend, we’re excited to offer a few select treatments with Utah’s only certified Watsu practitioner alongside our pop-up yurt massages.

If your mind, body, & nervous system feels like they’ve been drifting beyond your comfort zone, Watsu is the closest thing we’ve experienced to returning to a womb of grounding steadiness.

Equal parts massage, care, adventure, & trust, we’re thrilled to welcome up a new tradition to the shores and this weekend you’re invited to dip your toes alongside us into this magical new frontier.

Explore our calendar for offerings all weekend long and remember, if our soaking sessions are full, joining one of our treatment offerings always comes with an all day pass to enjoy the pools and sauna before or after your treatment.
