Woodall House

Woodall House There are 4 guest bedrooms. Each has its own private bath. A full breakfast for each guest is included in the rate. Experience fine southern hospitality!

The Woodall's (Bill and Charlene) purchased the property in 1985 from the family of Dr. John M. McKenzie, a well known county physician from Thomaston. In fact, Charlene Woodall was delivered by Dr. McKenzie himself. The Woodall's spent the next two years restoring and renovating the property in order to open up a bed and breakfast and provide dinner parties by reservation. They opened for busines

s in April of 1987 and have been operating this business since. The interior gingerbread is original in this restored Victorian home commissioned by Dr. McKenzie at the turn of the century. All the rooms have private baths with individual air conditioning. It is located one and one half blocks from the beautiful neo-classical revival style courthouse (1908), centered in an easy walking tour of 22 historic structures. The Woodall House also hosts Rehearsal Dinners, Birthday Dinners, Business Luncheons and Dinners. It is also a wonderful venue that provides a traditional setting for indoor and outdoor Weddings and Wedding Receptions. Please call us for your event needs and ask us about our catering services as well.
