Over the years, KC wore many hats at Owl’s Nest, Outdoor Operations Manager, Golf Professional, Director of the Adaptive Golf Program, and so much more. But titles could never fully describe what KC meant to this place.
One of the most meaningful parts of KC’s legacy was the role he played in developing the New England Disabled Sports program here at Owl’s Nest, helping create opportunities for children and adults living with a wide variety of physical and developmental disabilities. It was work that represented so much of who KC was: someone who believed that everyone deserved an opportunity to participate, succeed, and experience the joy of the game.
KC was deeply committed to his craft. A graduate of Pinkerton Academy’s Class of 2000 and a Plymouth State University alumnus, he went on to achieve his PGA Certification in Reno, Nevada. His passion for golf was undeniable, and those of us fortunate enough to watch him play know just how special his talent was.
To us, KC was the best all-around golfer Owl’s Nest has ever seen. But as great as he was at the game, the person he was will always matter more.
For more than two decades, KC helped shape Owl’s Nest into the community it is today. His fingerprints are on the programs he helped build, the people he mentored, the guests he welcomed, the rounds of golf he shared, and the countless memories made along the way.
There are people who work at a place, and then there are people who become part of its identity.
KC was Owl’s Nest.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will remain a part of this Resort, this course, this community, and this family for generations to come.
KC will forever live on as “The Owl” here at Owl’s Nest Resort.
Thank you, KC, for everything you gave to this place and, more importantly, to the people who call it home. We are forever grateful for the time we had with you.
