Here's something summer visitors never find out: the lake gets better after they leave. The boat traffic clears out, the water cools down, and the saugeye start feeding hard. Buckeye Lake had the second-highest number of Fish Ohio saugeye submissions in the state — and there's no minimum length limit here, which is a nice bonus. We put together a guide to fall fishing on the lake: where to fish, what water temperature turns the bite on, and what the current limits and license costs actually are.

Campfire season is officially upon us. 🔥

And there is no better place to celebrate it than right here on Buckeye Lake. 🌊😊

At Buckeye Beach Park autumn has a way of making everything feel exactly right. The days are shorter but somehow fuller.
