Hey all, sorry we haven’t posted in a while. With the ranch being listed for sale we didn’t take any reservations in the last year. However, this summer there is chance to come back out and experience the Lodge and our surrounding area again! Our new listings will be available to book starting in May. Pfadts Outfitting Service will still be independently offering guided fly fishing trips to our local rivers. Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope to see you again this summer!

As most of you know we don't take much time off here at Grey Cliffs but when we do, we usually fish. We took a special trip to Alaska and had a great time on the Kenai River with Alaska River Guides. Highly recommended!

Our Story

The Grey Cliffs Ranch is Bozeman's best destination for Montana luxury lodging. Focusing on intimate groups with personalized attention makes us a rare gem among Montana fly fishing lodges. The main lodge has 6 guest suites total; 4 individual rooms, one two bedroom suite, and a master suite with private balcony, jet tub, tv room etc. There is also a bunkhouse apartment next door with a queen bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom with a living/extra sleeping area for those who want to get even more away! We offer 5,200 deeded acres and over 2,000 leased state land acres for our guests to enjoy. Our stays all include meals which are carefully prepared by our Chef and feature many items sourced locally or from the ranch’s own gardens. We have a full bar with a great wine list. Guided fly fishing from drift boats on the famous Madison, Yellowstone, and Gallatin rivers with seasoned guides is our specialty. Pottery studio/lessons, sporting clays shooting, cooking lessons, massages, hiking etc. are all available at the ranch. Being just 40 minutes west of Bozeman and 2 hours to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park makes us a great base for your Southwest Montana vacation.
