Last night we sat here beside the river and watched the full moon turn red during a full eclipse. Over only a brief 2 hours the moon then reappeared in its brilliance - back to normal.
The transition “back to normal “ hasn’t felt brief and it hasn’t yet felt brilliant (for us).
But we never cease to find that 2 hours of listening to the roar of the spring river and watching the moon does indeed remind us that the real world is filled with magic whenever we rest these little screens.
Come, sit here, and rest your screens and your worries.

The annual spring snow melt has begun to flow 🌊 and our fingers are crossed for some late season snow to keep the river running strong this summer. 🤞🏿

Do you ever think about where your water comes from? 💦 We do!

Lake Kaweah👆🏾fills up each spring from the snowmelt that flows through our backyard. This water then makes its way into the nearby cities where it is mostly now used for farmland irrigation. Lots of “tap” water comes from snowmelt, rivers, and lakes like this.
