Lodging and Hunting

We are a mother/son outfitting business set in Tichnor, AR. A multi-generational family of farmers that live, eat, and breathe hunting and the outdoor lifetyle. We get our name from the area we’re located in southern Arkansas County. Famous for our duck hunting, the bottomland area south of Stuttgart was settled in the 18oo’s by our forefathers. Our family dubbed this the “little prairie” because of the tall grasses that grew in the smaller version of the northern, larger Grand Prairie. Abundant in all wildlife: bear, deer, turkey, even a ‘gator or 2, and, of course, ducks and geese, you’re sure to find something to occupy yourself! During the late fall and early winter, you can find the majestic bald eagle over Lake Merrisach perched in standing timber. Fishing is always great, whether it’s 2 of our favorites, catfish and crappie, or if you’re trying to land that monster big bass. We are so blessed to be in the Land of the Three Rivers. Just a stone’s throw away, you can be on the Arkansas, White, or Mississippi rivers. Another benefit of our area are the 2 wildlife refuges available for public hunting: Dale Bumpers National Wildlife Refuge and the Trusten Holder Wildlife Management Area. So whether you’re here to hunt, fish, or relax on the bank, you’re sure to find something that will ease your mind and fill your soul.

We offer 2 lodging options: White Oak Lodge and Pecan Lodge.

White Oak lodge is fully furnished with everything you need to be very comfortable for however long you plan on staying. It sleeps up to 8 people. All linens are provided as well as a fully furnished kitchen (except for food). We also offer satellite internet, TV, and a business center with free wifi for those time you just HAVE to do some business. On-site free laundry is also included. There is a shop furnished with custom wader dryers and gun racks as well as a grill. There’s a firepit out back to sit around and tell your hunting stories at the end of the day!

Pecan Lodge is now open! With the accomodations to sleep 10 comfortably, we’re sure that you will find your stay to be everything you needed! We have a firepit, deck, and a “Duck Hut” where you can hang with the guys after the hunt! There is a grill, griddle, and a full kitchen available. We have custom wader dryers and gun racks where you can unload your gear after the hunt. All linens are provided, as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We also offer free wifi, satellite tv, and on site laundry.
