Eagle Lake is a small clean, clear lake that is great for swimming and fishing. Located between the villages of Schroon Lake and Ticonderoga NY. Adirondack lakefront vacation rental that is ideal for 2 small families vacationing together. 2 separate apartments in the same house. A 1 bedroom (queen) with a sleeping loft for kids, and a 2 bedroom (1 queen and 2 twins) unit. Both have full kitchens, and decks. 9 people max, no pets. Great for swimming, floating, or fishing!

There was high drama in our cove this morning😳 Around 9:20 my husband and the girls heard our little loon family making loud distress calls. They went out to see 2 eagles swooping around and diving into the water after the babies, who were diving under. The parents were screeching and flapping around. It was very scary and sad to watch! Thankfully the loons prevailed 🩷

I share this with very mixed emotions today. This place has been a gathering place for our family and friends for the past 26 years. We had so many adventures, and have made so many wonderful connections here over the years. But as we retire and plan to migrate to warmer climates we kno it’s time to let another family take over stewardship of this amazing place. Feel free to share with your ADK loving friends!
