The great “mategration” has started! These guys take 7-10 years to become reproductively mature and now they are venturing out into the world to find a mate.

We finished the faux mantle and I’m so excited to hang our Christmas stockings from it this Christmas! 🥰 The beams were salvaged from a barn that was being torn down. The brick is actually plaster and was hand done by a very talented worker of ours. Originally there was a chimney here and when we renovated we had to bring an 8” pipe up from the new furnace in the basement. So we brought the pipe up through the floor and ran it parallel to the chimney, boxed them in and created this accent wall.

We’ve been busy in our limited free time working on a pretty cool project! All the lumber used is from an old barn we gathered up years ago. Can’t wait to show you the finished product installed 😁 stay tuned!
