Roots in the Forest is a 3-day music and camping festival held at Forest Farms in Tionesta, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest.
It’s built around a reggae, rock, and roots vibe, but it’s more than just music—it’s a full-on community experience. The festival features regional and national touring artists (like Mike Love,SensaMotion,The Supervillains,Mike Pinto,Sons of Paradise, and more), with live performances across multiple stages in a laid-back, intimate outdoor setting.
Beyond the music, it’s designed to feel like a little temporary village in the woods. You’ll find:
• Craft and food vendors
• Live painting and art installations
• Glass blowing demonstrations
• Fire spinning performances (Fire On The Mountain)
• Workshops and interactive experiences
Camping is included with a general admission weekend pass, so most people stay on-site and really get the full experience—music all day, campfires at night, and a tight-knit “Forest Family” atmosphere.
It’s also intentionally smaller than big commercial festivals (around 800–1,200 people), which makes it feel more personal—you’re not just watching the show, you’re part of it.
Tickets are typically around $90 for a weekend pass with camping, with add-ons like RV passes and early entry available join us JUNE 26-28th
