Thursday, June 4th, Meadow Lake Campground will be conducting a professional lake audit. For everyone’s safety, and to allow the crew to work without interruption, we ask that there be no fishing or swimming on the lake that day.

During the audit, the crew will be electrofishing — a safe and commonly used fisheries management technique where a controlled DC current is used around the boat to temporarily stun fish so they can be netted, identified, measured, and safely released.

This process allows fisheries professionals to evaluate fish species, population numbers, and overall lake health. The information gathered will help us develop a long-term management plan for feeding, stocking, habitat improvements, and overall fishery enhancement.

This audit is the foundation for building a healthier lake and creating a better fishing experience for our members for years to come. Thank you for your cooperation and support as we continue improving Meadow Lake Campground.
