🎃 Thank you to all of our campers for a great Halloween weekend! We LOVED seeing all of your Halloween costumes and decorations!
🎃 We want to especially thank "The Boo Crew" for all the hard work they put in decorating the maze and making it so much fun for everyone! They prep, plan, and decorate all week to make the maze spooky and spectacular! We also want to thank the back row seasonals who prepared and served the popcorn and hot chocolate. We appreciate them for also collecting the donations for Oil City Fire Dept. Local #700 "Coats for Kids" drive! Also, thank you very much to Kevin Irwin for all of his help in making this weekend possible. And thank you to anyone else who donated their time into making this a weekend full of making memories!

🍂 Hi campers! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our "Fall is in the Air" weekend! We absolutely loved seeing all of the unique and creative pumpkins!
🎃 The judges had a really difficult time choosing only 4 pumpkins for the 4 categories! Thank you to everyone who participated. You all made this past weekend a great one!

Thank you to STAT MedEvac, UPMC Prehospital Care, Reno VFD, Oakland VFD, Rouseville VFD, Cherrytree VFD, Cornplanter VFD, Pleasantville VFD, Titusville Fire Dept, Rocky Grove K9 SAR, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Game Commission, Venango County EMA, and Smokey the Bear.

🚨 To all of the first responders and law enforcement who took the time to come be a part of this day, thank you! We appreciate all of our local heroes tremendously! Thank you all so much for all that you do!

🚨 Also, thank you to R K Virgile Scrap Metals for supplying the cars for the live extrication demonstration. Thank you to MAD MAC BBQ for serving some delicious food!

🚨🚨🚨 Oil Creek Family Campground invites you to our annual "Heroes Day", this Saturday (September 20th) 🚨🚨🚨

📍This is one of our only events that is open for everyone, not just campers!

🚗 Live demonstration of vehicle extrication – 11am to 1pm – Watch as first responders demonstrate how to extricate live patients from vehicles.
🚨 Meet Your Local Heroes – starting at 1pm – Meet local first responders & law enforcement officers and see their emergency vehicles/equipment.
🔥 BBQ Food Truck – from about 12pm-3pm - MAD MAC BBQ will be here serving some of their delicious menu items, including their fall special - a loaded barbecue baked potato.
💧 Reno VFD will have a slip and slide set up starting at 1pm!
A special THANK YOU to UPMC Pre-Hospital Care's Ben Hart, Stat MedEvac, R K Virgil Scrap Metals, and to all of our first responders who are making this event possible!
