Foraging in harvest season…we try to use local and seasonal product whenever we are in the kitchen. Local farmers are still producing delicious bounty and fall markets are still lively. Such a great time to be in Rhode Island!

Darkness of night is coming quicker, and there is a chill to the air. Tonight we have tucked ourselves in under warm blankets on the cozy couch and are listening to the wind howl and rain dance across the farmhouse roof…the perfect atmosphere for watching scary movies….don’t you think?!

It is, after all , spooky season. Time for ghost stories, hay rides, corn mazes and trick or treating. Looking to treat yourself? Why not book a stay with us at one of our cottages?
