Anyone else out there hope for ‘bad weather’ on their getaway? Only Britton cabin remains this weekend (now booked) and it is perched high on the rocky hill with stunning views of the forest (it is dog friendly). It’s going to be an absolutely beautiful, cooler weekend on the North Shore so grab it before it’s gone!

After this, our next available weekend is August 15th (one cabin left as well) and dates are booking up through October.

Midweek stays also come highly recommended especially since Summer and Fall weekends can get a little busy on the shore.

When we were designing the cabins, we wanted them to feel like the kind of place where you could arrive, set your bags down, put your phone on dnd and breathe deeper than you have in a long time.

There’s locally roasted coffee for slow mornings, cozy blankets for cool Lake Superior evenings, books and board games for rainy afternoons, a kitchen stocked with the things you’ll need for a simple meal and a leather-bound guide filled with our favorite trails, beaches, restaurants, and hidden corners of the North Shore.

The cabins sit up on the ridge overlooking Lake Superior, and while we know nobody is completely unplugging these days, they’re the kind of place that naturally makes you reach for your phone a little less often. Most guests end up spending more time on the patio with a cup of coffee, watching the birds, listening to the wind in the trees, and doing a whole lot of nothing.

Which, in our opinion, is exactly the point. 🍃🫶

Waking up at Tofte Trails means cool, fresh lake air coming through your windows, birds singing, hot coffee from your king bed or on the patio and slowly making it out to a one of the many nearby hikes and beautiful Lake Superior. Then, grab lunch at one of the charming lakeside restaurants nearby and take a steamy shower and long afternoon nap back at the cabin.

We hope you give yourself permission to head North and shut all the way off 🫶 Healing means putting the phone down, getting a little bored and letting mother nature do the rest.

We can’t wait until you’re here 🍃☕️
