Any and all memberships would be amazing! If you are enjoying the trails that the The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club takes care please consider in joining! We are volunteer our time and do the best we can to take care of the trails all year long! We have elections coming up at the Twin Lakes Groomer barn Wednesday the 2nd. All are welcome to join in!

The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club annual meeting is this Wednesday at 5:30 pm at the groomer barn here in Twin Lakes! This is a very important meeting for the club as it is the one where trustees and officers are elected, and our season is planned out- beginning with our brushing & signing weekend the 3rd weekend of September. Hope to see you there!

Good Morning!! Days are getting shorter and nights are getting cooler - fall is on its way! Get your cabin booked to come see the fall colors here in Da Yoop! We have 9 fully furnished cabins and 5 full hook up & 10 plug in RV sites!!! Trail 3 right across the road, bar/restaurants right here as well and 2 gas stations - Big town of Houghton just about 30 mins away! Nice get away for sure to come sit and relax! So much history here in Da Yoop!!! When was your first time crossing the Portage Lake Lift Bridge!?! Was it by car, truck, sled (on the lower deck), sxs…under with a boat?!?!? Have you ever walked across it?

Upper Peninsula travelers remember when the Portage Lake Lift Bridge opened between Houghton and Hancock on December 20, 1959, replacing the old swing bridge for good.

Do you remember crossing the Portage Lake Lift Bridge for the first time, or hearing your grandparents talk about the old swing bridge it replaced?
