As many of you know, The King's Throne Inn & Guest House is currently navigating the challenges of the City of Toledo's unannounced reclassification of our property from residential to commercial.

This unexpected change has brought new financial pressures, including increased property taxes, as we work to preserve and continue operating our historic 1892 home in Toledo's Old West End.

While we navigate this transition, we're finding creative ways to support the inn and keep doing what we love: welcoming guests, sharing Toledo's history, and caring for a home that has stood for more than 130 years.

That's why we're introducing something special.

☕ King's Blend: Protecting Neighborhood History

Our signature Costa Rican coffee is now available as a special thank-you for supporting the inn during this challenging time.

👑 $25 Contribution — Receive a 4 oz bag of King's Blend.

👑 $50 Contribution — Receive a 12 oz bag of King's Blend.

Your support helps us manage the added financial pressures of the reclassification while continuing to maintain this historic property and provide the welcoming experience our guests have come to know.

Sometimes I forget just how much history surrounds me every single day. ❤️

Tonight, I wanted to share a little piece of the neighborhood I've come to call home.

Toledo's Historic Old West End is more than beautiful old houses and tree-lined streets. It's generations of stories, craftsmanship, memories, and people who have helped shape this city.

Being able to call this neighborhood home—and play a small part in its continuing story through The King's Throne Inn—is something I don't take for granted.

These homes have stood for more than a century. I hope the stories within them continue for centuries more.

Just a little reminder to appreciate the history that's right outside our doors. 🏡👑

Sometimes, the dream you set out to build becomes something much bigger than you ever imagined. ☕👑

When I opened The King's Throne Inn, I had a vision for a house, a guest experience, and a little piece of Toledo history.

What I didn't fully anticipate was how many people would become part of that story.

Guests from around the world. Local businesses. Artists. Neighbors. A community that continues to remind me why I started.

Entrepreneurship isn't always easy. But when your dream begins connecting people and places, you realize you're building something beyond yourself.
