We at CTT have so many reasons to be thankful for our leadership, staff and community. Maggie Zellner has done a fantastic job since taking the helm. Thank you Maggie for setting up our composting system. It took a lot of legwork to find a vendor that works for us here in Tolland. We hope your soil is enriched wherever you may live.

CTT regrets to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, MoonWalk Festival was unable to procure an event permit to hold their festival in the town of Tolland.
The CTT staff put an immense amount of work into trying to steer MoonWalk through the process, but unfortunately the event was unable to produce key elements that the town requires to assure safety and protect themselves from liability.
CTT has had many beautiful gatherings, and will continue to have many beautiful gatherings in the 2023 season and beyond.
We wish MoonWalk all the best.

Early mud season crew on our Forest Management Survey. We did a deep dive on conservation and how to prepare for climate change. Thinking and planning a fluid transition beyond seven generations forward. The walk gave us hope. It was beautiful. Change is coming. While we shared sadness for the Hemlocks and the American Beech, we know plants have been on the good earth for 600 million years. It’s wonderful to be along for the ride with them and we’re thankful to have some tools to help shape a regenerative and diversified future. 📸:
