We would like to share that Cheryl and Mark Casey are no longer the owners of Hooked on Nokomis. We are pleased to acknowledge and welcome the new owners, Bre Marie and Taylor Miner, and wish them much success as they take the helm. We know they will continue the traditions, friendships, and fun that makes Hooked on Nokomis such a special place.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our amazing staff, loyal customers, friends, and family for your unwavering support over the past five years. Your encouragement, kindness, and friendships have meant the world to us and have helped make Hooked on Nokomis a place filled with unforgettable memories and lasting connections.

The memories we have made together—from the busy days and celebrations to the laughter and conversations shared—will always be treasured and remembered fondly. We are incredibly thankful for every person who walked through our doors and became part of our Hooked on Nokomis family.

MIKE MARVELL is a Wisconsin-born comedian who’s been doing stand-up professionally for more than 25 years — and annoying teachers with jokes for even longer. Back in high school, he told his guidance counselor he wanted to be an engineer. She looked at his grades and said, “That’s the funniest thing you’ve said all year… you should try comedy.” Turns out, she accidentally gave solid career advice.

Mike’s comedy is all about Midwest life: football, hunting, fishing, family chaos, and surviving marriage and kids with at least a little dignity left. He’s performed everywhere from churches to sw***er clubs, grade schools to colleges, country clubs to biker bars, and nursing homes to casinos… which, depending on the slot machine crowd, can feel pretty similar.

Easygoing and instantly relatable, Mike reminds audiences of that hilarious cousin at family parties, the neighbor who always has a story, or the brother-in-law who somehow turns every barbecue into a comedy special.

KRISTIN LYTIE is a comedian from Green Bay, Wisconsin who sharpened her comedy chops in the legendary Chicago stand-up scene — where surviving bad open mics and weird crowds basically counts as cardio. She was even named a “Comic to See” by the Chicago Tribune, which is a pretty classy way of saying, “Yeah, she’s really funny.”
