🌝Did you catch a glimpse of the lunar eclipse last night?
Here in Tombstone, storm clouds blocked the view. Thankfully we took a cool moonlight photo a couple of days early just in case.

AS SHOWDOWN IN TOMBSTONE APPROACHES DON’T LET THOSE LAID TO REST IN BOOTHILL BE FORGOTTEN!

As Showdown In Tombstone approaches quickly, I like to remember the Tombstone pioneers that are laid to rest in eternal slumber here at Boothill.

Folks of all types, ages, races, and professions, some good some bad, some just children. People like the victims of the most famous wild west gunfight in history, Tom and Frank McLaury, and Billy Clanton, who was just 19 years old. The Brady brothers who drown tragically in the San Pedro River, one of them trying to save the other. Marshall Fred White, shot accidentally by Curly Bill Brocius in front of where the Bird Cage Theatre would be built.

Little Eva Waters, one of the earliest burials at Boothill and one of the youngest, only 3 months old, and succumbing to scarlet fever. Holo Lucero killed by Apache. Florentino Cruz shot by Wyatt Earp on his infamous Vendetta ride. William (Billy) Claiborne, who survived the gunfight near the OK Corral, but was killed in front of the Oriental Saloon by “Buckskin” Frank Leslie. Poor little Thomas Cowan, only 11 months old, passed from diphtheria. China Mary, Mrs. Ah Lum, known as the Godmother of Tombstone’s Hop Town. The list goes on and on.

When you visit Tombstone, don’t forget to stop by Boothill and help the history of those laid to rest there to not be forgotten!

Ice cream on the boardwalk 👌

Nothing better than to grab a big ole ice cream cone and walk the boardwalks here in Historic Tombstone AZ! Legend has it that Wyatt Earp loved ice cream - as the story/legend goes - "Marshal Wyatt Earp was an ice cream devotee and every afternoon he headed for the Tombstone ice cream parlor on Fourth Street. It’s not hard to imagine that he was on his way to enjoy his favorite sundae when he got sidetracked by the shootout at O.K. Corral."
There is Plenty of Ice Cream here in Tombstone AZ!
