The Tombstone Tourists Don’t See. Link to video below!
Tombstone, Arizona, is famous for Allen Street and the O.K. Corral, but there is so much more to this historic town hidden behind closed doors. In this episode of Desert Sky Adventures, we’re taking you inside the places most tourists never get to see.
Thanks to exclusive access from Tombstone City Hall, we’re exploring the restricted areas of the town's most iconic buildings—from the eerie, unrestored "magistrate's court" inside Schieffelin Hall to the functional (and original) jail cells of the Tombstone Marshal’s Office.
What we’re uncovering today:
Schieffelin Hall Backstage: See the 140-year-old opera house stage and the reportedly haunted dressing rooms that are usually off-limits.
The Marshal’s Office: A rare look inside the 1882 City Hall, including the original Firehouse doors and a real 19th-century jail cell.
The Abandoned High School: We take a look at the 1922 campus that has stood silent since 2006.
Hidden History: Original 1881 wallpaper, hand-painted ceilings, and the charred Adobe remains of the Grand Hotel hidden within modern-day saloons.
Whether you've visited Tombstone a dozen times or are planning your first trip, this video reveals the "secret" architecture and history that survived the great fires and the test of time.
