If you’re doing anything big in life, business, or sales, you’re going to get criticized. That’s the cost of visibility. People sitting on the sidelines always have opinions about people in the arena.

Criticism isn’t a stop sign, it’s proof you’re moving fast enough to be noticed. Use it to adjust when it’s valid and ignore it when it’s noise. Either way, keep producing.

In sales, criticism usually comes from people who aren’t closing deals. They’ll say you’re too aggressive, too persistent, too confident, until they need results. Then they call you.

Don’t let other people’s comfort level determine your income. If you know your product helps people, stay in the game and stay on the phone.

When you start growing, people who were comfortable with the old version of you will push back. Not because you’re wrong, but because change makes them uncomfortable. That’s normal.

You can’t build something big while trying to keep everyone happy. Focus on your mission, not their opinions.

Nobody criticized me when I was broke, unknown, and average. The noise started when the results showed up. That told me everything I needed to know.

If people aren’t talking about you, you’re probably not playing big enough.
