The River Schoolboat Teacher — Louisiana, 1941
Along the bayous of southern Louisiana in 1941, many children lived too far from town to attend school regularly. Roads flooded, bridges washed out, and transportation was unreliable.
Teacher Margaret LeBlanc solved the problem with an old flat-bottomed boat. Every weekday morning she traveled from settlement to settlement, collecting students along the riverbanks. By the time she reached her floating classroom, nearly twenty children were aboard.
The boat carried books, chalkboards, and supplies donated by local churches. During storms, Margaret anchored beneath giant cypress trees and continued lessons while rain hammered the roof overhead. Her students learned arithmetic, reading, and history while drifting through the bayou.
Several of those children later became teachers themselves. One former student said, “Miss Margaret brought school to us because we couldn’t get to school.” For decades, families remembered her simply as “the teacher who came by boat.”

People like Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi represent everything wrong with the D.C. swamp — a system that protects insiders while hardworking Americans pay the price. The double standard is impossible to ignore, and it’s destroying trust in our institutions.

If there’s evidence, there should be consequences. No more excuses. No more endless hearings. No more headlines with zero action.

Equal justice under the law means nobody is above it — not even the Democrat elite. ⚖️🔥
