Welcome to Sassy Sisters!

We are Debbie Schumacher and Darla Baggett, raised on a farm in the panhandle of Texas without any brothers. Our dad taught us how to do everything concerning a farm from chopping cotton and setting tubes for irrigation to working the spring calves. Our mom taught us how to can vegetables, sew, and set an elegant table so that we would be well grounded in all areas. We have shared laughter and tears together as we are sisters in all ways. Sassy Sisters was birthed from dreaming of doing something fun together again. Debbie moved to Kansas based on a call from God. Darla came to visit, and we saw something in Toronto that stirred the desire to create something here. We had our eyes set on another property when we heard about 2 adjoining buildings that we fell in love with and began dreaming dreams bigger than before. Those buildings now proudly display the Sassy Sisters sign, the dream unfolding. Our goal is to fill your tummy with a delightful meal of made-from-scratch sandwiches and desserts. Part of our dream was to create opportunities for others, so we hope you will take the opportunity while you wait on your food to explore not only our merchandise that we hunt and create for you but also the additions to our shop from other vendors who are embarking on their dream also.
