Heavenly Father,
Tonight, we are especially thankful for the rain falling over our mountains. With the Whiskey Fire burning just behind our ranch, every drop feels like a blessing. Thank You for sending moisture to our dry forests and for giving our firefighters some much-needed help. We pray that this rain continues gently and steadily, soaking the land and helping slow the fire. Please place Your protection over every firefighter, first responder, pilot, volunteer, rancher, family, and community member affected by this fire.
Give those working the fire strength, wisdom, and safety as they protect our mountains, homes, animals, and communities. We are grateful for this beautiful land we call home, and tonight we do not take the sound of rain for granted. Thank You, Lord, for every single drop!
Please continue to watch over the Manzano Mountains and bring the Whiskey Fire safely under control.
