Rising Star Camp

Rising Star Camp Rising Star Camp's unique program accommodates boys and girls ages 6-13 who may not have had the opportunity to attend day camp.

Rising Star Camp is a structured day camp specifically designed to promote self-esteem, conflict resolution skills, positive interactions, and success in its participants. This program is also designed to support children who have struggled with the traditional day camp experience. Our Camp:
- located at Elks Pond in Torrington

- 1:6 staff to child ratio

- Goal setting: Campers create a persona

l goal each morning with their counselor and are provided time at the end of the day to discuss the progress made towards their goal.

- Each day campers earn stickers with good choices/positive participation in camp activities. Earned stickers can be spent at the weekly “Sticker Store”
