Never forget. It’s hard to believe it’s been 23 years.

You’ve likely seen this iconic photo from 9/11 before, but did you know that this hero pup is one of our own? 🐕‍🦺💞

Riley helped at the World Trade Center with his partner, Chris Selfridge, and PA Task Force One. Chris works in our western area office.

Chris says that when this photo was taken, he was "standing on top of the North Tower watching in awe" and calls it a "proud dad moment." 🥹

We’re glad to report that Riley had a long and happy life after 9/11, and lives on in so many hearts.

We remember the lives lost in the attacks and as a result of them, and honor the first responders that ran to the rescue in the following days — including Chris Selfridge, our director Randy Padfield, and many other colleagues in emergency services.

Did you know there is a covered bridge only a few minutes away from The Crystal Springs? This is the Knapp Covered bridge and it’s the last one in Bradford County. Coordinates to use to find the bridge: 41.786064, -76.553242 … or look for Covered Bridge Rd off Route 6. The bridge is only a mile or a mile and a half down the road. One of the unique features of this bridge is the open area. Most bridges were covered completely.
