Gold Mine Raceway — “Now Under New Management”

This program is believed to date from the early 1960s, around the time Gold Mine Raceway reopened for its second chapter. While we believe this to be from the 1962 season, it’s also possible the “under new management” reference reflects a change that occurred while the track was already operating.

Thanks to a local connection, we’ve recently been given a number of original race programs from the 1960s era of the track. These have been carefully scanned into high-quality PDFs so they can be preserved and shared.

A big thank you to Jarrid Doyle for sharing these programs — without that generosity, this history could easily have been lost.
