For those with a chance of days off in May, there are still sites open, both in the electrical only C and in the full hookup E. With the mild weather, you just might find a relaxing time by the reservoir.

Just checked the sites still available at Goose Bay Marina. Lots of sites filled for June until September, however, there are a few full hookup sites and electrical only sites available for the last week of May and up to the 5th of June.

Greeting campers, For those willing to try camping in May or June, there are sites open during the week = Monday through Thursday. There are even a few full hookup sites in the East Loop and more in the electricity only in the Center Loop. And of course, the rustic sites are also open. August also has spots open if anyone is making plans for that month.

Reservations for the 2026 camping season (May 1 to September 30) start on Wednesday, January 14 at noon. Any reservation over $300 can pay 30% down with payments on the remainder completed throughout the summer until August 15. If you use a credit card, a 3% credit processing fee will be added. If you use a debit card, please call the office and the 3% fee will be reimbursed (call later in the week, not Wednesday to process the credit). For seasonal reservation requests, please remember to only request the site you plan to occupy, don't tie up numerous sites for other parties. We are looking forward to a busy summer with all of you; happy new year!

Trip out to Goose Bay Marina on Friday, January 2nd, to check on different things provided a view of clear ground and very thin ice in the bay, yet a fisherman told us he caught a rainbow trout. Might try your luck or wait until May's reservations which start on Wednesday, January 14 at noon.

The bathhouses have been open each year from day 1 each season. Some shower doors are locked if that shower has maintenance issues. But we have had at least 6 showers operational every season.

Reservations for 2026 begin at noon on Wednesday, January 14. This year customers can choose to use the ACH payment option to directly transfer their payment from their bank account. Additionally, customers can choose to hold their reservation with a 30% down payment for amounts over $300. For those reserving for the season, please refrain from reserving multiple sites for the season. If you have family or friends that want a seasonal site, they will need to reserve for themselves. Please limit your selection to the site that will be occupied by the customer. Thanks. We are looking forward to another great year.

Goose Bay Marina & Campground remains open. It was erroneously listed as closed in a previous Facebook post. We are encouraging Goose Bay campers to keep their phones charged and monitored throughout the day. Additionally, we advise the campers keep all extraneous equipment corralled and packed to facilitate a quicker response if an evacuation order is received.

Goose Bay Marina has a job opening for a work camping couple. Salary for each worker plus full hookup site. Job begins April 28 with training and ends September 30 preferably but can accommodate shorter length of stay. An online application is available at www.GooseBayMarina.camp. This is a great place to work and recreate for the summer with many nearby attractions. Each couple has two full days off per week. Hope to hear from you soon!

The campground is about a mile long from end to end and has two shower houses with flush toilets. The sites are all spacious enough to accommodate two vehicles, both towing trailers or boats. There are three types of sites in the campground, Rustic (no water, sewer or electricity ), Electrical Only....
