Mountaineer Campground The ideal place to enjoy both forested serenity and all the adventures the Smokies have to offer.

We are a wonderful family place with numerous activities nearby for all ages. Our campground has many amenities to offer such as all shaded sites (grass, gravel with patios, or concrete), river sites with large decks, swimming pool, children's playground, laundry facilities and a modern, super clean bathhouse.

Well, folks… we're back! And apparently Mother Nature has been busy while we've been away! 😂🎨

We gave her a few days to work her magic, and those yellows and oranges are definitely starting to spread across the mountainside! 💛🧡

Green is still hanging on for dear life, but fall is slowly taking over! 🍃🤣

The Smokies aren't quite ready for their grand finale, but the show is getting better every day!

Well, would you look at that! 👀 Mother Nature must have had her morning coffee because she's finally picking up the pace! ☕😂

Those yellows are getting brighter, we're seeing more splashes of orange and gold, and the mountainside is slowly starting to look like FALL! 💛🧡🍁

Green is still putting up a good fight, but we think its days are numbered! 🤣💚

We're not at peak color just yet, but the Smokies are definitely starting to show off a little!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE SMOKIES! 🚨

Well, folks… we skipped a day to give Mother Nature a little extra time to get her paintbrush ready, and wouldn't you know it… she's FINALLY making some progress! 😂🎨

Those patches of yellow are getting brighter, a few hints of orange are sneaking in, and green is slowly losing its grip! 💛🧡💚

We're still a long way from the grand finale, but at least Mother Nature has officially clocked in for her fall shift! 🤣🍂

🍁🍂 Mountaineer's Daily Fall Color Watch – Day 4! 🍂🍁

Well, folks… Mother Nature is still taking her sweet time! 😂🍃

We're seeing a little progress today! Those few patches of yellow are getting a bit brighter, but green is still holding on strong! 💚💛

Apparently, Mother Nature believes in a slow reveal… and we're all just standing here waiting for the big show! 🍿🤣
