🏆 Save the Date: Blue Ribbon Country Fair!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26, 10 AM to 4PM at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center.

Live demonstrations, livestock, vendors, baked goods, the Ladies' Skillet Throw, and competitions in everything from canning and photography to fiber arts and woodworking. Something for everyone, all day long.

$20 suggested parking donation per vehicle. Free parking for Heritage Center members.

🦋💗 The City of Townsend joins in mourning our neighbor born and raised just over the mountain in Sevier County.

Whether she was writing classics like "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You," starring on the big screen, or giving millions of books to children through her Imagination Library, she lived her life with generosity, humility, and infectious joy.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the love, and the mountain spirit. You will always be loved. 💗🦋
