🍂 Fall looks good in Traverse City!

The colors are changing, the air is getting cooler, and there are so many ways to spend a fall weekend in Northern Michigan. Here are some of our favorite things to do in October:

🍷 Let someone else do the driving and spend the day exploring local w**eries, breweries and distilleries with Brew Bus.

🍎 Looking for a fun fall scenic drive? Drive north to Pond Hill Farm in Harbor Springs for some fresh c***r and hot donuts. They also have a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkins to pick, apple cannons and plenty of fall family fun. Be sure to drive through the Tunnel of Trees while you’re up that way. It's pretty glorious!

🍏 Celebrate Apple Days on October 17 at Farm Club , where you can enjoy the flavors of the season with more than 20 varieties of apples, c***r pressing, apple treats, donuts and more.

🍷 Go hunting for reds! The Hunt for the Reds of October runs all month long on the Leelanau Peninsula W**e Trail. Grab a pass, take a beautiful fall drive through w**e country, and stop at participating w**eries for hand-selected red w**e pours along the way.

The International Fireworks Championship is NOT your average fireworks show and it's coming to Traverse City!

The International Fireworks Championship is September 11 & 12, and brings six world-class teams from Canada, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom and the USA to compete for the title.

Three countries compete each night at Turtle Creek Stadium with huge fireworks displays choreographed to music, and you get to vote for your favorite! Team Poland, last year's champion, is even returning to defend its title.

- Fireworks begin around 8:30 PM
