We can never forget

As well as 24/7 online news coverage, Stars and Stripes publishes a five-day-a-week print edition for distribution to U.S. military members serving overseas and a six day-a-week abbreviated version transmitted to Navy ships at sea. It also publishes a variety of community publications in print or online for military communities in East Asia and Europe and a podcast Military Matters available on most platforms.

The organization is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

A group of Marines during the Vietnam War. Each man with different backgrounds, families and experiences forever grafted together by a Mission without a cause. Protecting each other through thick and thin, smoke and mortar, come hell or high water. An impromptu football game in the midst of chaos with comrades. The call of duty, time to move out prior to the Christmas Day meal. Thanks to God for keeping them alive, no dinner to celebrate. Ordered to move out. Many senseless deaths, souls tied together forever by a memory stitched in each mans heart. Memories so vivid and real as moments ago but knowing in retrospect it has been 50 years ago.
