Immediate opening for full time housekeeper. Usual start time is 8:30a.m. weekdays and 9:30a.m. on weekends, working until finished. If interested, you can stop by our office and pick up an application. Our hiring manager is usually available during the week from 9am to around 2pm.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms to meet high standards of cleanliness.
Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and occasional vacuuming.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to front desk or management promptly.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety.
Assist with laundry services as needed, striping linens.
Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience in hospitality settings is highly valued.
