The Chili Line Depot, is Farm to table restaurant, and Bed & Breakfast just outside Taos, in Tres Piedras, New Mexico. Tres Piedras is surrounded by Carson National Forest with GREAT biking, hiking and horseback riding trails, fishing, camping, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and elk hunting. March 2013, President Obama signed a proclamation designating The Rio Grande Del Norte National Monume

nt adjacent to our little village of Tres Piedras. This large historic (Chili Line Depot)building was the bar and dancehall for the old Chili Line Railroad with 3500 sq ft of hardwood flooring (and incidentally a roller skating rink and movie theater in it's former life), so we decided that it was time to establish an eatery and lodging in this unique place. In addition to the restaurant, we have a large (upstairs) bunkroom for groups, a large upstairs suite, and a couple of downstairs rooms for guests.

Local legends Charlie Rafferty, Brian Murray, and Emmett Hanf have joi
ned forces as the Jackalope String Band. Stirring together a blend of bluegrass, celtic, and ol' fashioned americana tunes into a twang fusion mix of traditional and original tunes that they are calling Sage-grass, the bands high-desert infused performance is sure to delight.

Get ready for a night of toe-tapping, guitar-picking, ballad-singing good times! Hogan & Moss are taking the stage at the Chili Line Depot this Saturday, August 29th, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
If you haven't heard them yet, their unique sound defies categorization—described as "Old Weird America" meets "Scorch-folk Americana," but truly in a class of its own. "A molten hot concoction of smooth jazz, contemporary folk, and cool blues..."

That’s how the Nashville Music Guide describes the sound of Jess Wayne, and we couldn't agree more. We are so excited to welcome Taos favorite Jess Wayne back to the Chili Line Depot on Saturday, August 22nd from 5 to 8 PM!

He’ll be sharing what he calls original Electric Bourbon Folk music — smooth with a smoky finish; songs that get under the skin and linger. He will also have his fantastic new album, "Ancient Door," available for purchase so you can take the music home with you!

There's no cover charge, and we'll be serving up delicious food all night. Show your support for local music with your generous tips, and to make the evening even better, we're offering Happy Hour with half-price drinks and free chips and salsa!
