Such a perfect place to host in the Gorge 🌼🌷

Appreciation post for for including us in their “Hottest Listings” newsletter last week!

While, indeed, we are looking for the next energetic and creative owner for the RJI to carry on this vision, we want to reassure you all that we are here and very much open for business as usual!

This little Inn is a labor of love and we are not going anywhere until the right person fills these shoes.

Come visit us while we are in the beauty of spring bloom! The balsam root are beginning to adorn the hills with yellow blooms- it’s our favorite time of year in the Gorge! 🌻

This is a celebration of the end of an era at Cave Creek Farm bringing together all of our favorite things for a weekend of community, live music, family activities, food and fun. We will pay tribute to those who have contributed to the magic on the farm, and usher in the next chapter and new adventures.

We just extended our Glamping season here on the farm to the end of October 🏕️ Come take advantage of all the Fall bounty that comes with harvest, changing colors along our creek and cooler evenings under the starry sky ✨

Burying my first baby while in my third trimester of pregnancy magnified the closeness of birth and death. Both sacred transitions from one state of being to another. The loss of my old man in many ways feels like the most beautiful way to usher in my next chapter of motherhood, while other pieces of me wish that the two had met for one sloppy kiss before passing the proverbial baton ♥️

We laid Porter to rest on the here on the farm last week after a life well lived, and in the place that was purchased with his happiness in mind. A rainstorm swept through the farm that evening, sunset colors danced in the sky and a rainbow appeared at dusk 🌈 It all felt connected - like a sign or a show in his honor - part of a grander plan indeed.

Here’s to Porty Pie - my first babe and Uncle Jared’s best friend. Rest easy, Big Dog 🐶 You will be missed.
