In May of 2000 congress passed into law a National Moment of Remembrance starting Memorial Day that year. At 3pm your local time pause for a minute of silence to honor those we’ve lost. “Congress called on the people of the United States, in a symbolic act of unity, to observe a National Moment of Remembrance to honor the men and women of the United States who died in the pursuit of freedom and peace."

Hard to believe it’ll be our 10th season at TCR this summer. We’re always so excited to see our guests every spring. Docks and boats are in the water, the grass is green, the warm weather wildlife have returned and our cabins are freshly spring cleaned. If you haven’t already confirmed, now is the time. We only have a few weeks available for summer 2024.
