Camp Susque is a non-denominational Christian camp with the goal of introducing campers of all ages to our God and Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, as proclaimed in His Word, the Bible. We present God’s glory through the wonders of creation experienced in a rustic camp setting and His grace as seen through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We offer Christian camps, youth camps, family camps, retreats, wilderness camping trips, field trips, and much more.

Author and researcher Lars Erikson recently noted that "According to a 2022 Barna Group study, 42% of practicing Christians in the US reported struggling with a mental illness in the past year, higher than the general population's 32%”.

One might assume those figures are perhaps even higher in 2026 and should be a wake up call for those of us leading ministries. Camp Susque is planning a one day Ministry Conference set for Tuesday Nov 10. Our Speaker, Dr Tim Bryant, will be leading us through the theme of “Mental Health and the Church”. There will be time for discussion and fellowship. Lunch will be provided. Below are the details:

*We are hiring!* We are in search of the next individual to carry on a tradition of culinary excellence in Hemlock Hall.

Whether it's prepared in the kitchen or over a campfire, food has played a central role in camper and staff's experiences at Camp Susque since the very beginning. The next Foodservice Manager will be excited to continue traditions like sticky buns, baked oatmeal, Sunday night pizza,... and eager to engage with new recipes & themes. They will have a desire to support our staff through challenges and victories while pointing them to their Creator.

It was a beautiful fall morning to learn some Pennsylvania history in our own backyard! We talked about the underground railroad, explored an old local mining town, & spotted different forms of energy farming in our area. We're not sure how credible the tour guide was, though...
