To all Pine Ridge members. This has been a really good season so far this year. We greatly appreciate the effort our members have made in not shooting our upcoming bucks for next year. This being said we hope that this continues to be the case as the season is in its last few weeks. Please remember we are building our herd for our future . We plan to turn up our management efforts this spring with a spring planting plan and a spring and summer feeding program. All members are required to buy one ton of protein feed to start our spring and summer feed program. We need the feed to be purchased immediately after deer season is over. This will let us get started on the recovery process that our deer need after the rut. In addition we would like to go ahead and announce that there will be no changes in the acreage on the properties we have. We will continue to have the same 7,000 acres that we currently have known as Pine Ridge 1. However we are going to start Pine Ridge 2 that will be a bow only property and hopefully a Pine Ridge 3 that will be both gun and bow properties. These properties will be completely separate from the properties we have now . Any member in Pine Ridge 1 may join Pine Ridge 2 or 3 for additional fees . You do not have to be a member of Pine Ridge 1 to join either PR 2 or 3. They are completely separate. The number of acres in 2 and 3 is yet to be determined.
