‼️I have not posted on this page since our park shut down but guys this is so important! If this bill passes it could possibly shut down every park in Alabama!!! Please read up on it and contact your senator and ask them to vote against this bill!

https://trackbill.com/bill/alabama-senate-bill-254-atv-parks-provides-for-permitting-inspection-operation-and-fines-for-violations/2539738/

This is the link to the email and phone number to every senator in Alabama. Let’s blow up their emails and phones and show them how important it is! This is going to affect more than just mud parks! It will hurt dealers and repair shops also!

‼️ALABAMA ATV PARKS ARE IN TROUBLE‼️

This is not clickbait or engagement bait. This is 100% serious and real.

Alabama Bill SB254 (Give it a search to read the entire bill. Link in comments.)

Alabama is looking to bring into a new bill directly meant to shut down ATV/UTV parks across the state by essentially making it too expensive to operate them or have "approval" from state appointed foresters/engineers (whoever deals with that kind of stuff) and we all know how that's going to go. Parks will have to have 5 million dollars minimum of liability insurance,And if you know anything about insurance,That much is extremely expensive! So much so that smaller parks would not be able to pay it,And I doubt larger parks would even want to.

The ATV/UTV industry in the south has expanded exponentially within the past couple of years and it brings TONS of revenue into the state through hundreds of avenues,Why Alabama would want to cut that out is beyond me but I've heard word it's because a senator of north Alabama has a problem with a park and wants to harass them even more than he already has.

We don't need to take this laying down guys. A lot of us have tons of money invested into our builds and have loved this hobby for all of our lives. You need to get in touch with your local senator and protest that we do not want this bill AT ALL! Make your voices heard or I can guarantee in the next year or 2 we will have no choice but to ride private land or go out of state to ride.

Tag your friends. Share this post. Go search the bill for yourselves and read its entirety. Comment your thoughts or opinions as well.

It has been a while since I posted but I wanted to share some bitter sweet news with all of our friends! We found out that we received the 2023 Best of Troy Award for our RV park. It definitely is an honor and we appreciate it.

Teresa Watson asked for a special message from her be posted to thank each and every one of you that ate at our Muddy Water Cafe over the years and said it was the best!
She absolutely loved feeding y’all and taking care of you during your stay.
We started out with no food truck and relied on the availability of vendors to come. Nothing against our vendors they are all awesome but we wanted to have something permanent. Even though Teresa (Mama) cleaned the cabins and bathhouse during the week to prepare them for your stay she went to work with ideas of starting our own food truck. She is certainly the hardest working woman I know! Travis Colquett and her set out on becoming a Hunt’s Brothers franchise and they sure did an amazing job with it! As she became busier over the weekends we have had Phyllis Bryan and Lisa Campbell Rhodes helping and working so hard to take care of everyone.
I’m sorry for the long post but they all 3 deserve recognition for their hard work. Thank y’all for the love y’all showed this weekend and selling us out of pizzas!

We are excited to spend this weekend with all of you. The gates will open Saturday morning at 9:00. We will be closed Friday the 28th. Unfortunately, as you all know we already scheduled a family trip before we realized all of this was going to happen. So check ins will be Saturday morning at 9:00.
We appreciate the love you all have shown us over the years. We ask that you be respectful of the landowners property this weekend no littering and no tearing through fences. We will be spending the first week of August cleaning up.
We can always choose to do the right thing even if it isn’t reciprocated.
Due to limited parking we ask that you do not set up canopy tents next to your vehicles so we can utilize all parking spaces possible. I’m sorry we have to ask that but under the circumstances I know y’all will understand. ❤️

As you guys may of heard,Alabama Mud Park is closing at the end of the month.

Despite their best efforts to stay open,The land owner is shutting them down....and it's the most hilariously stupid reason as to why. Some people in this world are just trash human beings and will always be that way.

So July 29th,Y'all be sure to bring every atv and SXS you have and let's pack this park out ONE LAST TIME and show these folks just how much they mean to the offroad community. I mean these folks have put so much time, money, and effort into making the Offroad community great. From their bounty holes to their kids events to their holiday events that they generally tried to do something for on EVERY ONE just so people would have a great community to come to and have fun! Share this to every group and friend you know!

Come on out and let's pack it out ONE LAST TIME!

Thank you all so much for the love and support. See y’all on the 29th!

This is going to be the hardest post I have ever had to make. Because of a dispute with our landlord and what we feel is a wrongful termination of our lease, as of August 5, 2023 our park will be closing. This comes after 2 1/2 years of y’all making this park the amazing park that it is. If you have a reservation you will be getting a full refund. We are so sorry for the inconvenience. We have met the most amazing people and have made lifelong friends. We will have a final ride on July 29, 2023 to celebrate the wonderful memories that all of us have made together here at Alabama Mud Park. If you would like to make a reservation for that Saturday, July 29, please call the office today through Sunday. Unfortunately, we had already scheduled our family vacation not knowing this was going to happen, so the park will not be open from Monday July 17, 2023 through Friday, July 28, 2023. Thank you for the love and support you have shown us over the years. We love all of you.

I’ll start this post with whoever lost the orange sunglasses we appreciate them and they did not go to waste 🤣 we had a great weekend from bull riding to Henry DjHendock Everett playing all the right songs to a nice firework show! Travis Colquett did a great job for his first time and we look forward to building this July 4th tradition. Thank you to everyone that came out and celebrated with us!

We would also like to add a thank you to everyone that helped this weekend with the young man that was injured. We received word that he is doing well but ask for continued prayers as he heals from his injuries. Once again we can’t thank God enough for his protection over our mud riding family. 🙏🏻
