AND...that's a wrap. 2026 season is officially done. We want to thank everyone for another fine year. As the snow starts to fly up top these bigger horned critters start wandering around and the guides thoughts turn from water to the woods. So here's a last couple of both.

Won't be long before Fly Fishing Shows so hopefully we'll see some of you there. And here's to a mega storm free winter this year without damage. We could use a break!

I'll post some updates and probably some astro pics here and there over the winter but in the meantime have a great winter everyone. Make plans to come see us in 2027!

Been a a while since this season's side project update so here's a saw shack...getting close to dry roof. Rafters...metal plates and braces all done. Time for perlans and then metal. Hopefully done in the next couple of weeks. A huge shout out to our ever capable senior guide KP for an extra set of hands today. You rock dude!

Second half Sept report. Great fall fishing time and we still have openings for October. Hoppers of all colors. Red, burnt orange, yellow and gold for an underwing. Olives and PMD's on the cloudier days. Oct caddis are a hit too.

Remember stay 2 nights and get a 3rd on us in October. Off season rates too. Promo "FALL2026"

Weather forecast the next week is for Indian Summer conditions. Sunny and 70's - 80's. Come on up and enjoy the fall before the season slips away!

Ok it isn't fish but it's Friday and time for a quick Sawmill / Sawshed update. This has been quite the project.

Many of you have been here over the summer and seen the logs, posts and beam timbers piled up. Well today marked the final main beam being put in place. (And yes I'm darn proud of myself cause even with equipment this whole build has been solo. 😊) This is all storm damage wood from last winter.

Anyhow 48 feet long total. 8"x8" post and beams 16' foot long cut to length. The main header is a rough cut custom self made Glulam. 8"x11"x32'. Yes 32 feet. That thing was a challenge. OY!

Lots more to go but hopefully dry roof before rainy season and winter.
