Tahoe Tessie Tuesdays!

Did you know Lake Tahoe is said to house its very own variety of the Loch Ness monster named Tahoe Tessie?

Tahoe Tessie has been a fan-favorite legend in Tahoe. Folks will tell you the legend of Tahoe Tessie has been around since the local tribes inhabited the Tahoe basin.

What could Tessie be? Sea serpent, prehistoric relic, cryptid... or maybe she's just a giant sturgeon... Find out for yourself, and maybe stop by to learn more about our mysterious friend.

Join us Tuesdays to make your own Tahoe Tessie Cyanotype, Build a Tessie, or hide a Tessie in your Guided Painting!

Happy Holidays from Northstar Lodge!

Last weekend, Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge was joined by some magical visitors from the North Pole who offered hot chocolate and pictures. Guests decorated frames for their Polaroids (or as the elves say, North Polaroids) as memorable keepsakes. Even without much snow, we're keeping the winter magic alive!

December 16th – 19th from 2pm – 5pm, Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge will have some visitors from the North Pole!

Join us in the Sierra Lounge for Polaroid pictures with our magical friends, then stop by our Activities Center to decorate a picture frame.

Get crafty this holiday season!

Here at Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge, we offer a variety of activities for guests, from Wood Burning to our Pinecone Creations. This December, we'll also be offering Ornament Science, Gingerbread House Decorating, and Picture Frame Decorating. Who knows, you might even see an elf! 😉

Things are getting here at Northstar Lodge...

This October 31st, we encourage guests to enjoy our Halloween Department Decorating Contest! Our haunting decor will be on display at each department from 12pm to 1pm. Please stop by and vote for your favorite!

Packed a costume? Good news! We will also have trick-or-treating from 11am until 2:30pm on Halloween. Activities, Front Desk, and our Sales Reception will have treat bags to grab. Just say the magic words: "Trick or Treat!"

Oktoberfest and Paint and Play!

On Saturday, Northstar Lodge hosted for guests, donning festive apparel and roasting up brauts. Attendees loaded up their dogs and grabbed some fun props, posing for the camera and enjoying the dwindling weather of fall.

Later in the evening, a Paint & Play event was set up, where our manager of marketing, Bre, led guests in a beautiful pine sunset painting tutorial!
